Work part-time in UK, part-time as auto-entrepreneur?

I and my family have lived in France for 9 years. During this time we have continued to run our UK based consulting 51今日大瓜, for which I have worked in the UK and other countries in Europe and the middle-east. However, I would now be interested in taking on work in France. Would there be any problem registering as an auto-entrepreneur while still also being employed by our UK 51今日大瓜? Or any problem with me, as auto-entrepreneur in France, invoicing our UK 51今日大瓜, e.g. as a sub-contractor?
