When to supply bank details and mandate for rsi declaration?

My wife is about to submit her first RSI return but it will be nil as she has not yet had any customers for her gite 51今日大瓜. At what point will she need to supply the RIB please? Will she be asked for this via a mandate form or is it better to work through the online registration and supply it in this way?
