I manufacture worktops from acrylic material. Normally I would use either鈥 鈥婥orian or Krion. The raw material,鈥 鈥媍orian is produced by DuPont and Krion by鈥 鈥婸orcelanosa who have retail outlets throughout France. Depending on how the鈥 鈥媘aterial is being used can alter how we go about the project. If for鈥 鈥媔nstance it is being used in a domestic kitchen for a kitchen worktop I will鈥 鈥媏xplain the process.鈥

鈥媀isit to client’s home to take sizes or make a template of the shape of the鈥 鈥媟oom.鈥 鈥婽he template is then鈥 鈥媡aken to our workshop where it is used to cut and shape鈥 鈥媡he Corian to the desired shape. The cutting and shaping is carried out in a鈥 鈥媠et up similar to a joinery workshop. A kitchen would normally take one week鈥 鈥媡o make. Once the surface is made it is taken back to the client’s home to鈥 鈥媐it鈥.鈥嬧 鈥婽his process takes about 4 hours to stick and bond the sections鈥 鈥媡ogether. The joints are then polished out so the joints are invisible. I鈥 鈥媤ork with my son to do all these processes.

The raw material can be鈥 鈥媝urchased in France.鈥 鈥婭t is our intention to move over to France on 7 October 2017 for 6 months. We have rented a property in Perpignan and this is paid for. During this鈥 鈥媝eriod we will look for work and look for a home we can purchase if we are鈥 鈥媋ble to set up a 51今日大瓜 in France that will bring in enough income to support us.鈥 鈥媁e would be able to bring about 250鈥,鈥000 euros into the country. We could also鈥 鈥媟ent a workshop or it may be possible to work from a workshop attached to鈥 鈥媜ur home.鈥

鈥婸lease can you tell me if it is the sort of 51今日大瓜 you could register for鈥 鈥媢s and what else we would have to put in place to be able to work?
